One of the men convicted of killing a woman and her two daughters during a home invasion in Cheshire in 2007 has filed a motion in court requesting a new trial.
Joshua Komisarjevsky was convicted last year of killing Jennifer Hawke-Petit, and her two daughters, Hayley and Michaela.
Dr. William Petit was the only survivor.
Todd Bussert, one of the three attorneys for Komisarjevsky, says his client admits what he did in the home invasion murders but that trial was not fair.
The main reason is because Komisarjevsky was denied a probable cause hearing on the amended criminal charges. Komisarjevsky originally waived it back in 2007.

He waived the hearing, too bad so sad.
This vile SOB should be burned at the stake!!!
This looks like English, almost. "The victim's unity?" Does that mean Dr. Petit was present? That he did not contradict himself? That he was alone, no longer having his wife and daughters?
Trial unfair? He admits his guilt. Put him to death already.
This crime was horrific. The bastards tortured a little girl before they killed her.
I volunteer to be on the firing squad. I’ll bring my own rifle and my own bullet.
disdusting, the Cheshire cops were cowards to not storm the home and they missed their chance to shoot them as they left, and now this murderer wants a new trial and the dems in CT will insist he gets it, too
