This coming Saturday there will be a Military service for Petty Officer Chad Regelin (U.S. Navy) in Anderson CA. Chad, who worked in EOD, was killed in Afghanistan on 1/2/12 while trying to recover evidence of an IED explosion, apparently from a manually operated IED. The service will be at a church on Riverside Ave in Anderson, and the PGR will conduct a flag line at 9:30 am. Military Honors are scheduled to take place at the N. CA Veterans Cemetary at Igo, CA at 1:00 pm.
It is reported by the local news (Redding CA) that the Westboro Baptist Church will be protesting this funeral service. If you have a contact with anyone in the Patriot Guard Riders within California, or know of anyone in CA who might be interested in honoring this man, and providing a shield against the protesters, please help get the word out.
