- President Barack Obama plans to ask Congress for more power to shrink the federal government, a White House official said Friday.
Obama plans to speak at 11:20 a.m. about his plans to make the federal government "leaner, smarter and more consumer-friendly," the official said.

Obama wants to make government smaller. Yeah, right... and I woke up this morning a size 2 with perky ta-tas. Give me a break!
Congress can just send him a bill cutting the budget by 50%.
He doesn’t need any “powers”.
As someone who has increased the size and scope of Govt. more than any President since FDR, that’s laughable.
Obama has increased the size of gov't from 20% GDP to 25% GDP.
WHAT else would you expect a MUSLIM TRAITOR playing President to do?
The majority of Americans still won't even consider the fact we have a MUSLIM RADICAL playing POTUS.

But so is Obama - he has no intention of downsizing anything, other than free enterprise. We do not need one large Federal department doing what two smaller departments shouldn't be doing in the first place.
He could start by allowing Arizona to arrest illegal aliens.
He wants more power... to shrink the government. LOL.

This CFPB sounds like a make work, nothing bureaucracy designed to employ rat friends and relatives. Stand by. Hussein took a measured risk to get his pet Stalinist appointed.

obama wants to “consolidate” smaller agencies under a larger one, headed by one of his czars or radical cronies
the bigger their agencies, the bigger their budget
and the more power they wield to issue ridiculous crippling directives against the people and outside the checks and balances of Congress and the courts
Anyone with a brain knows obama is no “small government” guy — LOL!
A one-party dictatorship run by the executive office is not necessarily a “smaller, more efficient” government
Will he begin this great “streamline” by firing anyone who is ACTUALLY doing any type of *oversight* work?
OR....maybe he’ll put the Defense Department directly under the Department of Injustice and Homeland Security?

A dictatorship with only an executive branch is far leaner and more efficient than one burdened by those pesky legislative and judicial branches.
