Via The Hill:
"Restore Our Future, an outside group backing Mitt Romney, is taking its first shot at Rick Santorum. The group is running ads in South Carolina and Florida criticizing Santorum for supporting earmarks, part of multi-million dollar ad buys running in the states."
Fair? In context? All the possibly clarifying facts disclosed? Of course not.

The only thing this guy’s got going for him is that he’s probably better than Bam. It’s disturbing the way he initiated attacks on Newt and now Santorum. During Viet Nam he dodged service by hanging out in some plush France abode. To see his good looking sons parading around with him also raises the question that none of the four have done any military service to their country.
Slick Willard and his wingman Paultard cannot run on their own records, so they must take out the only conservative left in the race.
I am voting for Newt and so is everyone I know here in Central Fla. I will make calls for Newt and do my best. Romney must be stopped. If Santorum wins over Newt, I will tell everyone I know to vote for him. Whatever it takes.
Watch him at his townhall appearances if you have a strong stomach. He repeats the same canned speech at every one. When he recites lines from “America the Beautiful,” it’s enough to make you puke.
How anyone could think that this prissy fop with his dyed hair, phoney bonhomie, and nervous little laugh is electable is beyond me.
I’m rooting for Santorum who probably will win Iowa if the recount is done fairly. That makes him Romney’s chief opponent. He’s an authentic conservative who has a wealth of experience in government despite his youthful appearance. He’s proven he can win the votes of Democrats when he runs as a conservative. That’s how he won four races in Pennsylvania. He ran as a conservative and that’s how he voted when he was in the House and Senate except when he reluctantly voted to support some of George Bush’s programs.
He has a populist message that includes proposals to revive the manufacturing economy; he offers solutions to the entitlement problems; and he doesn’t have Gingrich’s personal baggage or Romney’s out-of-touch rich guy personna. I hope South Carolinians vote for Santorum and stop Romney in his tracks. They’re the voters who can do it.
I agree with everything you’ve said except the comment that Romney’s sons are handsome. That swarthy bunch? Their looks remind me of the Saudis who carried out 9-11. Lined up behind Daddy Romney, they look like Mafia enforcer types standing behind the Don. And why haven’t any of the Romney’s served their country? Pacifist Mormons or something? If Romney wants to increase the size of the military, I suggest he draft his sons.
Romney didn’t run for governor again for a REASON!
