Transcript of Ron Paul on the Imus show: "Israel actions are horrible, atrocious"
"They are starving people and keeping them in concentration camps"
LOL!
Wait, I don’t get it dude...
You ain’t kidding.
so why are they on here.
This is a conservative website do they not have libertarian sites?
Do they not have their own platform to run on and vote in?
They’re socially liberal, , hell even more so than most liberals.
They’re left wing on foreign issues, so why the hell do they think they should be on a conservative website and think their liberal views should be spouted.
That is even when a lot of them are getting banned and they still don;t get the message
Hey but he’s serious about making the trains run on time.
Oh, wait, that was that German nut.
Now that the video is out, let’s hope somebody calls him out on it in the debates. Making lying accusations against the Israelis is not going to play well in South Carolina...or Florida.....or anywhere off campus.
And those are the ones with an excuse, they are stoned and don’t know any better.
Its the sober ones that scare the hell out of me...
Trains? Willie Green?
A lot of them have accounts that date back many years. There are lot of libertarians that tend to piggyback on conservative sites because libertarians can't win elections. These types of libertarians just have more in common with conservatives than Democrats. The age of many of these accounts probably explains why they don't get zotted instantly for pushing paulbot crap.
Another breed of paulbot that spout RP's drivel are just doing what paulbots tend to do better than supporters of any other candidate - spam forums endlessly and hope the sheer amount of garbage will influence people and perhaps take over forums. These people spam just about everything from gaming and weather forums to even sports sites.
And lastly, there are a lot of conservatives that are truly fed up with nothing really changing no matter how involved they have been. These people are just so thrilled to hear Paul talk about real, serious domestic spending cuts that they will forgive his wacky foreign/defense policies and conspiratorial views and followers. Many of them want to believe in RP so badly that they allow themselves to be deluded into thinking naive isolationism and bizarre conspiracies are actually somehow conservative.
The combination must be a nightmare for the mods to keep up with. The place is literally awash in paulbots. Some just criticize other candidates and don't mention who they really support (though it is generally easy to tell), some get the zot pretty quick, and still others kind of hit and run spam sporadically enough to sneak by.
agree with all of that and the last bit especially.
They know they will be banned so they put their posts in a certain way.
Still it does not take away from the fact that we should nto be letting non republicans run on our ticket.
They have their ticket and they should use that instead of trying to take over the GOP much like the socialist have done with the Dems
The guy is brilliant. No other candidate has thought of going after the Hamas vote. He locked up the Code Pinko, white supremisist, dope users and losers, Truthers and other conspiracy whackos and now he can add one more key demographic.
Ron Paul is a megalomaniac.
The accusation against Ron Paul is inaccurate. Go and listen to the video.
He did NOT accuse Israel of starving Arabs in concentration camps. He deplores sanctions against starving people IN GENERAL and doesn’t believe in sanctions as a foreign policy that the US should embark on.
Paul DID express the same things so many of us have said, and that is to let other sovereign nations solve their own problems, that we shouldn’t be the world’s police force.
I’ve not been a Ron Paul supporter, but what I’ve read in this thread stands as a false witness against him, and that’s just not right. Not for Freepers.
I always wondered if Ron Paul was much like James Baker, just another Arabist looking out for their interests over our own. This just confirms it for me.
Sorry, you are wrong. Every accusation against Paul on this thread is 100% correct. Any person supporting Paul should have their Freeper card revoked. Fortunately, that appears to be occurring.
Barry Goldwater I would describe as a person who was crucified for his perhaps unyielding principle, but at least, as insensitive as his opposition to civil rights legislation was, he had a point about State rights.
“Israel actions are horrible, atrocious”
“They are starving people and keeping them in concentration camps”
Take a look at “How would ‘President Paul’ respond to Iran?” from FOXNews with Megyn Kelly today >>>
Even if ‘everybody knows we have CIA agents manuvering in Iran’, a sitting Senator shouldn’t say so...especially when a former US Marine has just been sentenced to death there for spying. Of all the things he said there that are objectionable, that line really is potentially dangerous.
Too many unpopped kernals in this bag, and extra butter won’t help.
