They were thinking of endorsing Buddy Roemer, but they decided they wanted somebody even more irrelevant...

Could be a good thing. Probably pulls from likely Romney supporters more than anyone else.

This is most likely to affect the country club voters, which tends to support Mittens. Hopefully Huntsman will siphon votes away from Romney.

Exactly. The Statist is in the bag for the democrat party.

Here, I fixed it for them:
"There are actually two sensible, experienced grownups," The State editorial reads. "We are going to endorse the one that has no chance of winning to muddy the waters in the GOP primary and hopefully extend the internecine fighting."

It's too many egos trying to play. Fox is reporting this election cycle there is enough conservatives to get Romney in the WH even with a huge block of us conservatives not voting. It seems Hume's making us out to be just a small block of the base now. I quess Romney picks up more moderate and light weight left wingers/ democrats. Pretty soon, they will have to change the platform of the GOP after seeing Rove going on and on how wonderful it is to see so many democrats coming into the GOP. They have destroyed (just about) the GOP. This may be the election in which this party goes down in flames. I have seen this cycle as an injustice. They pushed Obama on the nation and now the same media tells us that Romney can stop this regime. Romney caves and changes his mind. How can he stop Obamacare when his RomneyCare for the blueprint. Geez, no wonder voters are upset. Newt is right, this election will be the fate of America in more ways than one. It's a sad shame we were given this glorious nation, with liberty and the human race is destroying America's future. It is our own doings. There is no way this should be this messed up. The people in charge should be fired and not replaced with more of the same. Investigations should begin on Week 1 with the new president. if we don't get the government changed, with the right person, our God given rights will be changed forever.

You know it’s a leftist editorial board when they pick the only GOP candidate to call the GOP as needing, these days, to return to “sanity.” Riiiight, because jacking up spending to the moon is “sane” and wanting to return to lower spending is “insane.”

Obviously this publication is clueless but as any Huntsman vote are likely to come directly out of Romney’s hide this could be a good thing.

Hey I hope it works this way: 10% peel off Romney and move to Huntsman. LOL.

They’re a little late, maybe — KFI in Los Angeles is reporting that Huntsman has dropped out of the race.

Such excellent timing!

Newspaper, you don't say? Paper is obsolete! (except for the obvious bodily need)
