As I read about how the efforts to overcome racism are succeeding I'm thinking what planet is this guy from.
Yes, what he said is true but he's missing the thing that keeps charges of racism alive; to wit,
the victims' industry's whining 24/7 that blacks are victims -- and the victims' industry, a major part of the civil rights industry, always "exonerates nonwhites of almost any criticism" by putting out there that a minority cannot be a racist because only the majority, (typical) white folks can be racists.
.. but the author indicates a recognition of the true causes, it seems to me:
Chavez's comment [that Sudan's genocidal leader is criticized because he's black] was blatantly racist since it exonerates nonwhites of almost any criticism . . .

Against these distortions, people tend to steer clear of confrontation. The fear is palpable that an assertive stand could be interpreted as racist.
For decades any stand would be shouted down as racist and conservatives would slink away protesting, "I'm not a racist. Okay we'll do it your way."
I recall the decades of the '50s through today. Today only dull people still scream "Racist" because that's all they have.
Screaming "racism!" is now sooooooooo twentieth century.
Real racism of liberals and islamics nowadays is class warfare generated. If you are off the government plantation, independent and smart black woman, they will hate your guts.
And indeed, if you are stupid, a victim, dum, government dependent, beholden or a little puppy whore homosexual black or white man, then you are most protected.
H. Cain was in part a victim of the same racists who used the “race card” on Republicans.
