Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin told Sean Hannity on Fox News Tuesday night that, if she were voting in the S. Carolina primary this coming Saturday, she would vote for Newt Gingrich for president.
Palin's husband Todd has already endorsed Gingrich for president.
Sarah Palin told Hannity that Gingrich won Monday night's Fox News debate. She said Gingrich espoused the ideas favored by most conservatives, including a strong work ethic and limited government.
She added that she is not fully endorsing Gingrich, but believes the primary race should continue and dismissed the idea that Gov. Mitt Romney is the "inevitable" candidate.

I think she’s playing it cool, send the message without causing waves that will detract.
Mark Levin on Hannity now...
The goal now is to prevent Romney from winning.
That’s all the way to me.
The only way you vote for mittons is to keep Paul out
Um, I would thing that “I would vote for” equals “endorse,” but i guess that’s so 20th Century.
Karl Rove must be foaming at the mouth. Come on Newt take South Carolina. We have to stop Mitt. GO NEWT GO!
Sounds like a done deal to me........the Palins are in for Newt.
If this denies Romney a primary victory, it’s worth it.
Palin endorsed Newt. Let’s go FReepers. Let’s get this done.
That is not how Rove works. Gingrich, Santorum and Romney are all Rove's candidates. Rove has no ideology and always gets more than one of his candidates into the primaries. As long as any of them win, it is fine. The main difference in the candidates is in their rhetoric on social issues. Neither Rove nor his candidates care one way or the other for these issues. They just want to ensure that no matter what the mood of the electorate at any given point in time, one of them gets the votes.
What they really care about is fiscal issues. On fiscal affairs, all of them are on the same side and are anxious to ensure that debts, deficits, corporate welfare, wall street bailouts and pork barrel projects are all in place. Much as many freepers don't like it, Santorum is a Rove protege just like Bush. Romney a Rove candidate. Even Huntsman the liberal is a Rove candidate who has been groomed for 2016. Rove just plays all over the ideological spectrum.
Ron Paul fan?
Excellent. I hope this helps Newt in SC. If Romney wins big in SC, it’s all but over.
NOTE: Inauguration Day, January 20, 2013, falls on a Sunday.
Imagine.... ZERO leaving in disgrace for Corrupt Chicago.
And President Newt Gingrich taking a solemn oath to restore our nation to our Founders intent.
Newt will put Our Country First. That is a FACT. Imagine Newt walking into the Oval Office, asking the Brits to bring back the Churchill Bust.
Imagine Newt quoting our Founders intent in REAL TIME on every occasion.
Newt, an Army brat who’s natural Father gave him up for adoption, who earned his PhD at age 28 and LOVES our country.
Elect Newt... Elect Newt because he has the grit and dedication to make our Founders proud. Imagine Zero making a pit-stop in Hawaii for appearances sake, on route to Chicago to reunite with his thug family... Because Zero feels most at home in Chicago, solo.
Because when you endorse someone that later loses you lose your influence with the one who does win.
And because she sees the target as being Obama, not the other Republican candidates. She doesn’t want to damage whomever actually is nominated to run against Obama.
There is some wisdom there.
Gingrich won the debates. Said the right things at the right questions. If Newt doesn’t win SoCar, we are all stuck with Mittsy.
She didn’t endorse Newt! She even said so that it wasn’t a endorsement but it’s to keep the process going....(if Mitt wins S.C. most candidates are thinking about dropping out except for Paul)
That’s why Newt and Perry were making statements that they “may” stay in after S.C. If Mitt wins by a low plurality...she wants to stop the Mitt train but isn’t endorsing Newt
Even Nancy Pelosi knows Romney supporters are banned on the most popular Conservative website, freerepublic.com
She mocked Romney today as she knows Conservatives will NEVER vote for him. That is a fact.
They haven’t figured out if Santorum wins IA,yet?
That would be a double whammy on Willard.
Nope. I was for Palin and then Cain. I supported Bachmann for a brief period as well. I just explained what Establishment means. If you want to live in denial and believe that various candidates look out for you and are personal enemies amongst themselves, you are free to believe such nonsense.
