Democrat Kathleen Falk Running for Governor Against Scott Walker
Sheboygan Press ^ | 1-18-12

Posted on 01/18/2012 8:43:52 AM PST by afraidfortherepublic

Former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk is running as a Democrat against Republican Gov. Scott Walker.

She made her announcement today in an online video posted to her website and in an email message to supporters.

Falk says in the message that the 1 million signatures submitted Tuesday to recall Walker was an “unprecedented and inspiring show of solidarity and determination.”

Falk says she will make different choices than Walker on focus on creating good-paying jobs, a clean environment, successful schools and affordable health care.

Friends of Scott Walker reacted to Falk's candidacy shortly after she declared.

"Kathleen Falk's announcement today comes as no surprise, as we have long anticipated she would be the nominee hand-picked by big-government, public employee union bosses," said Ciara Matthews, communication director for Friends of Scott Walker. "Falk has already lost two statewide elections, failing to earn the trust of Wisconsin voters. Governor Walker's record of success and progress will stand in stark contrast to Falk’s intent to take Wisconsin back to the days of record job loss, massive deficits, and double digit tax increases. Falk's record as Dane County executive falls in lockstep with a Madison liberal ideology that is far outside the mainstream of the majority of Wisconsinites."

Falk is the second Democrat to announce they would challenge Walker. State Sen. Tim Cullen of Janesville is also running.

A number of other Democrats are considering getting into the race but haven’t made a decision.

Not nutty, just self-absorbed and unattractive ... and spends a lot of money to look that way.

76.4% are 18 or over which is about 4.3 million people. That means 1 in 4 people signed the recall petition. I CALL BS!!!

I pretty much knew exactly what the Lilith would look like before I ever saw the picture.

Walker has a solid record of success in his state now. This ugly broad is going to have to sell voters that she wants to go back to the bad old days. Good luck selling that.

“...I heard Mickey Mouse and Adolph Hitler were among the ‘legitimate’ signatures.....”

Proving once again that all along, Ol’ Adolph was indeed a democrat after all...

I had to look a little for that picture (taken when she was leaving office as Dane County Executive a few years ago.) Most of the pictures available on the Web were at least 25 years old.

She looks like she came straight out of central casting for Marxist hags. The more I see women like her, the more I understand why they despise Sarah Palin so much.

Verifying the petition signatures. There is a big effort across the state that starts Sunday (as soon as the petitions are available).

There is also another group — independent — that is entering names in a Data Base that will be sorted and checked for duplicates, an unusual no. of names at one address, incomplete information, etc.

Scott Walker is going to soon start thinking that if he had really been a Republican, he might have won a second term.

I haven’t trusted him since Big Media didn’t care when he publicly offered up his daughter on election night.

Um...I think you’re thinking of Scott Brown in MA since Walker has no daughters.
