Obama plan seen ending U.S. military edge in space

I want the largest English-speaking democracy to be militarily dominant in space, in concert with our allies who share our values, rather than a Chinese or other communist totalitarian dictatorship or militant theocracy like Iran.

That doesn’t mean France, Russia or whoever couldn’t send up communications satellites or tourist excursions. Under our protection, of course.

China already sees us as a threat and is already expanding their Navy and their capabilities in space. We’re in an arms race with them now, that’s reality. We can choose to ignore it, and lose, or compete and win.

China is thousands of years old and I would suspect they have a world dormancy plan in the works and they have the patients to follow the plan.
