Editorial: Brown's medicine not the cure for California
The Orange County Register ^ | 1-19-2012 | Orange County Register editorial boarad

Gov. Jerry Brown, in his annual State of the State message, said Wednesday that "California is on the mend." But what the still-ailing state needs, he said, is more medicine in the form of higher taxes, intrusive regulations and more debts to pay off. Someone needs to tell Dr. Brown that bleeding patients kills them, as the medical profession discovered long ago.

The governor said not only must Californians increase sales taxes on everyone and income taxes on the most-wealthy, but he also proposed increasing the state's debt by issuing bonds for a high-speed train that polls say voters don't want, analysts have determined the state can't afford, and experts project probably will become even more costly while attracting too few riders to pay for its operation, if it can even be built, which also is highly doubtful.

The only thing that will save California is a jolt powerful enough to wake its majority from their collective coma.

Better plan; sell California to Mexico, AFTER closing the borders between California and the rest of the U.S.

I have a better plan:
(1) Seal the California borders.

(2) GIVE California to Mexico.

(3) If Mexico won't take it--declare war and force Mexico to take it.

why is it so difficult for these libtards and rinos to understand we are in debt and we MUST cut spending?

my job is iffy right now, i am 60, my wife works, i have savings and investments i just paid my car off and i have enough models in my stash to keep me building for 2 life times and i am already looking for ways to scale back some.
i feel like a sap for paying my school loan and buying insurance. guess i’m too responsible to ever be a politician.

and where are my representatives? the republican party is really moderate democrats and the demonrat party are anti-american marxists. a pox on all of them

liberalism and islam delenda est.

That is a better plan except for one small detail. If the U.S. declares war on Mexico......they’ll immediately surrender and then demand we rebuild Mexico for them. Hows about:
3) If Mexico won’t take it; trade California to China in exchange for extinguishment of the outstanding U.S. treasury bonds owned by China AND a 10 year commitment they’ll do daily live Reality TV Show broadcasts from their forced labor camps!

The real evil-—he is destroying the sexual morality of children-—forcing the idea of anal sex on 5 year olds—destroying the innocence necessary in children to form normal sexual identities.

He is destroying the idea of God-—Objective Truth—dumping the Bible and Truth and promoting the Marxist Big Lie: Men and women are interchangeable—there is no meaning to sex-—you are just copulating animals. The natural family is worthless.

It is to destroy Virtue-—which destroys all civil societies. He is destroying the possibility of Virtue in all the children of California (along with media) and there will be nothing anyone wants in CA in a generation. We will look like Weimar Republic or the last days of Rome where even kids were used in their sexual orgies. Sandusky is probably a friend and supplier to Brown-—why is Brown not putting the Hollywood pederasts in prison??????They are still making movies and shows like Glee to promote immorality and normalize evil.
(The ones who raped the Corey’s are still billionaires supplying boys for orgies) Really SICK, BROWN!!!!!!! JAIL THEM!

Guv Moonbeam - the gift that keeps on giving! With Brown’s pipe dreams, the business climate in California will become totally toxic. Yep, that’ll pay the bills, Jerry!

why is it so difficult for these libtards and rinos to understand we are in debt and we MUST cut spending?

Consider their priorities, in order:

1) My political career.

2) Maintaining plausible deniability, whatever I might be accused of.

3) Obtaining sexual favors from staff and constituents.

4) Building my retirement portfolio with cash from lobbyists and drug cartels.

5) Getting positive media coverage.

6) Rewarding my political supporters.

7) Punishing my political enemies.

8) Defending and expanding the welfare state, whatever the cost.

9) Not pissing off my political superiors.

1000) Promoting good government and Constitutional principles.

Yeah. That's the plan.

At first I had reservations about giving China a pied à terre in North America, but upon reflection I realized that (1) they've already got one in contemporary California and (2) giving it to Mexico is the same as giving it to China and (3) the ChiComs would be no worse and would be more fiscally responsible than the decadent California Leftists.

If China won't take it--maybe we can give it to North Korea.

Or--here's an idea--maybe we could make a deal with Kim Jon Um (is that his name?): we give him the California Leftists (they'll go voluntarily since they think North Korea is the world's perfect place) in return for...

...uh...
...what can we give him to take them?

Simple. San Diego. That way, North Korea would have a border with Mexico! Then, a couple million Mexicans would migrate to Korea complete with Taco trucks and fecund uteri. A couple million Mexicans would soon be 20 million and..........they grow pot in North Korea creating a spectacular economic turnaround. And the North Korean people would benefit too; they’d still probably starve half to death but........they’d be stonned and happy because the transplanted Californians would move to legalise the Mexican pot. Now that’s a win-win!!

Could we hide some candid cameras in North Korea so we can see the looks on the California Leftists’ faces when they finally get what they’ve been demanding?
