Romney has claimed that his father AND HE BOTH marched with MLK.
BOSTON GLOBE: “Mitt Romney went a step further in a 1978 interview with the Boston Herald. Talking about the Mormon Church and racial discrimination, he said: ‘My father and I marched with Martin Luther King Jr. through the streets of Detroit.’ Yesterday, Romney spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom acknowledged that was not true. ‘Mitt Romney did not march with Martin Luther King,’ he said in an e-mail statement to the Globe.”

Thanks, I didn’t remember the 1978 Boston Herald interview. What a big fat liar he is.
They claim Romney fabricated seeing his father march with Martin Luther King, Jr. However, Mitt is not the only one with this impression.[R]esidents had reason to make a visual association between the two because Michigan television showed both leading marches, with stock footage montaged together. Thus people "saw" them marching together, consistent with the impression expressed by Romney, who was a young teenager during the 1963 March.
