Does she have some proof of this “open marriage request”? Who/what kind of proof would one have? Does she have secret recordings, letters? Of course it’s new news - she would not have gotten this interview with just old news to tell. Wonder what she was paid? ABC is the one that gave Casey Anthony $250K and fueled that whole fiasco. A scorned ex-wife + ABC news - why is anybody believing any of it?
I don’t think that the “open marriage” request is really even new. I think that it has simply been re-phrased. I think that Newt just admitted his infidelity and said that he didn’t want to give up the mistress. I doubt that he referred to it as an “open marriage”.
I remember all of that being brought up while the Democrats were fighting the Contract with America campaign. None of it is really new. I just didn’t pay that much attention then, and I don’t think that it deserves much attention now.
Do you remember how they even followed Newt with some kind machine to tap into his cell phone calls? Some of the Democrats ended up paying big bucks on that one.
