Me too. But last time I jumped on the Cain train and it sank. Hopefully Newt will keep it afloat and sails us to victory.

Knowledge wise, Newt puts Herman Cain to shame.

Derailed, perhaps?

Yeah, under my Bachmann bumper sticker was one for Cain. In the same spot was one for Fred Thompson. I will not jinx Newt.

'WE' have to keep Newt afloat; and yes, then we will sail to victory.

( Now, if we could all give the RNC/GOP a giant, collective, poke-in-the-eye. . .or wherever.)

LOL!! Glad I am not the only one who has that capability, sheepish look.

Went so far as to tell my DH that I will NEVER again send money, (I will work like the dickens though ; ) to a candidate, because no sooner do I hit send, then they are out of the race : o

When Perry bowed out this morning I was sad for an America where being a good man, and a good leader was not enough, but the endorsement and hearing about the 10th Amendment push was the perfect remedy.

Godspeed Newt, and may God guide our course together.

I think it actually derailed due to Engineer error.

I'll be giving Newt a few bucks to play with.

I don't see anyone left who can articulate the things I want said better than Newt. If he gets the Nomination, I know there won't be any ground given up to Obama like McCain gleefully did.

We were sold out in 2008 when The McCain Campaign silenced Governor Palin, the one person who dared to speak the truth. I don't see the same issue coming from a Gingrich Campaign Staff. Add Allen West to the ticket just to make it interesting. LOL

Please don’t compare Cain to Newt...Cain had ZERO political experience and while an affiable enough human being, was completely out of his league and element and him as the nominee would have gone down as a disaster that would have made Goldwater’s look good.

Newt is a seasoned and proven politician, not a perfect person by any means, but of the class of 2012, he is beyond head and shoulders above any of them. He won’t allow the press to define him, he has the intellect, and ability to recognize and counter the press’s attack, (see last nights debate) he has the intellect and oratory skills to articulate the conservative ideology, etc etc etc.

I will be honest, when he first said he was going to run, I really didn’t think his campaign would amount to much... however honestly I hadn’t taken a good look at the republican field of 2012 at that point either.. When I did, I realized, he was the best offering of the lot, and by a wide margin.

I am looking forward to seeing him take on Obama, the bloodbath that will be the most untalented and inept individual to hold the white house in my lifetime (and yes, that includes Carter), trying to win a debate, on policy, political ideology, or anything else against Newt is going to be laughable. Every gotcha moment Newt effectively counters, just highlights further the softballing that the press has given the current occupant of 1600 PA Ave. And sooner or later, the press will smell the blood in the water, realize its a lost cause and turn on the teleprompter and do the job they should have done 4 years ago, and evicerate someone who should never have made it to the primaries let alone become president.

Press is leftist, but they also will eat their own. They built him up in 2008, and with Newt as the Republican nominee, they will eventually recognize the blood in the water, and tear this man-child down.
