I agree with those who say “When in Rome....” I do have a problem with that ugly hat though....

I think it OK to wear a head scarf out of respect but just barely, not the over whelming one that she has on. Wearing one would show respect. Having it be somewhat minimal would subtly show noncompliance with the spirit of the law.

While I have no brief for Islam, I've taken off my shoes before entering a Mosque, and likewise before entering a Buddhist temple. For that matter, I've taken off my shoes when entering homes of some of my Turkish friends. It's just common courtesy.
The problem is lack of reciprocity. Muslims don't just fail to show respect for other religions. They show active hostility.

The Muslims aren’t Romans. There is no reason to appease them under any circumstance. Their religion is evil and must be crushed. God will crush it in the end.
