In my opinion, the current administration would determine that it was too late to correct something that was a fait accompli and might irritate the Muslim world—so they’d ask the Iranians to pretty please let us come in and bury the dead.
If Israel depends on a security agreement with the United States they should look first at Viet-Nam, Iraq, or any of the other ‘allies’ we’ve walked away from.
