yes Romney has money in the caymans but he pays TAXES on
so that becomes a non issue”””

NOT EXACTLY!!!!

I called a person this AM who is a busy invester.

He said that Mitt’s investments are legal under current law.....BUT the TAXES you are referring to that Mitt pays are paid to the government of the CAYMAN ISLANDS!!!

Ther is not one single dime paid into the US TREASURY until & IF Mitt brings such profits back into the USA.

There is a buzz in Obama’s administration to give a one time amnesty on taxes to such investers ‘to bring more capital back into this country’. Mitt would be a perfect target for such legislation.

Therefore:
1. Mitt is currently paying NO USA taxes on his Cayman Island investments!!!

2. If Mitt gets elected, he can call for such an investment profit amnesty—saying that Obama called for such before the 2012 election.

3. IF Obama gets re-elected & he gets such legislation passed, Mitt wins also.

It is definately an issue with me!!! I want to know where else Mitt has investments outside of the USA.

1. as you pointed out it is LEGAL to send funds offshore so why does that upset you?
2. and tex romeny does pay taxes
here from a boston paper
“US investors in such funds, such as Romney, are still required to file tax returns and pay US taxes on the earnings from those investments, according to attorneys who specialize in the area.”
http://www.boston.com/business/articles/2012/01/20/mitts_not_alone_investment_funds_often_have_second_home_in_cayman_islands/

3. Actually it is a Republican idea to have a one time amnesty for companies to bring back profits they have made overseas, odumbo would give tax crdits to companies who bring jobs back

so if Romney becomes the GOP nominee who would you vote for?
