The points about the boomers are too true. I’ve them called “the Worst Generation”. Time will tell but it can’t be too far off.
I would like to add that the degradation of the American family and the wholesale slaughter of the unborn have contributed greatly to our decline as well.
Agreed. We, as a nation didn’t lose our morality because of the leftists, or even solely because of the leftist teachers. It came because parent’s quit caring for their children enough to teach them right from wrong. Government can’t, no matter who is in charge. That’s can only come from the parents. Too many were ready to kill their babies so they wouldn’t hamper their rampant sexual lifestyle.
Now we have single parents and welfare moms. Again, take away the socialism, and problems get solved. Government can’t be the daddy if they’re not given the funds to do it. And men and women would have to actually stay together and take responsibility. We’ve been incentivizing divorce too long. Why have a husband/father, when you can take from Obama’s stash. Simple, they won’t. So the next generation doesn’t value fathers either, and on and on. Then mothers think it’s a badge of honor to “do it on their own” while either getting a vast government subsidy, or never actually being home to parent. Or worse, both. The worst of all scenarios!
