That same thing can be said of any crime now on the books, and it’s no more valid for contraception than it is for rape or murder.

Of what significance is the length of time for which they have been available? After decades of thought, study, and discussion, I have come to the conclusion that the Catholic Church has it right. Even if I were an atheist, I would adopt that position on utilitarian grounds.
Contraception is not a crime. You still have not answered my question. What is your option? Yes. There are risks. There are risks to pregnancy also. You are not going to do away with birth control. My question to you is why do you want to? It is not your interest in the health of women. That much is obvious. You have another motive.
I certainly agree with you concerning the govt telling any religious organization they have to provide birth control. The rest of what you said....uhm..not so much. But I respect your right to say it.

I apologize for the above post though it contains truth inasmuch as it is simply an opinion. But..I know you. I have known you all of my days. You live in a small place and your days are coloured in greys. The colour of smoke.
