Free Republic is now in full open rebellion against the elite GOP establishment and we're going to need your support now more than ever!!
Free Republic is and will remain a pro-life, pro-family, limited government, strong defense grassroots conservative site. As such, we cannot and will not support an abortionist/statist RINO for president.
RomneyCare = ObamaCare = government tyranny. Taxpayer funded abortion is as evil as evil can get. Romney has stated that abortion should be safe and legal in America and that Roe vs Wade is settled law and should be defended and sustained as such. He's also on record as being in denial of Reagan conservatism and he and his GOP establishment elite RINOS openly loathe the tea party. Romney has no core conservative principles. He will not fight for our causes.

No more RINOS!! No Romney, no way!!
This attitude will undoubtedly cause us to lose some of our true blue Republican members. So be it.
Rebellion is not easy, not for the weak-kneed or faint of heart, not free and there are no guarantees of success. We declare our intention to fight tyranny and pray to God that we are doing His will!!

I started feeling better and it has come back with a vengeance. Hubby is getting it back too.
Anything is possible, but my fever broke 4 days ago. Still have low grade at times. I had a severe headache earlier from all the coughing, but aspirins are making it go away.

Don’t know your problem but have to put 2c in. I’ve had a lousy cough for ages. Now a laryngologist has found one of the reasons. I have a fungal infection in my throat. They’re blaming Advair I was taking for my chronic bronchitis, plus Gerd from hiatus hernia causes coughing.
Get it checked out. there may be simple reasons for it.

I think that happens more often than people may suspect. The rebound effect.
Same here, DJ! DrO is a lot worse and too sick to go to Walgreens and RiteAid for my scripts and OTC medicine that a FReeper told me about! I hate to complain, but I am relapsing too.

You’re right. Sometimes what appears to be is not.
If the fever goes up at all, or if your cough gets worse, or if you are having trouble filling your lungs, I would definitely see someone asap.
He thinks we have head colds, with post nasal drip that goes into bronchial tubes, which causes coughing, etc. Of course, I don’t know that he’s right. I think mine is the flu, since I had a raging fever and couldn’t keep any food or liquid down.

It sounds to me like you have the flu. When is your appointment?
I remember the days when drugstores delivered. The guy that came to our house was named Max. He was retired and supplemented his income delivering prescriptions.
I’ve never done that before.
