The Secret Service says it is looking into a recent op-ed from an Atlanta publisher that floated the idea of green-lighting Israeli Mossad agents to assassinate President Obama in order to improve Israel's security against enemies like Iran.
The publisher and author, Andrew Adler, reportedly has apologized.
But Jewish advocacy groups condemned his comments as "outrageous," and Secret Service spokesman George Ogilvie said the agency is "aware" of the incident.
"We're conducting the appropriate investigative steps," he told FoxNews.com.
Ogilvie would not comment on whether Adler has been contacted or whether his column was deemed a potential threat to the president.
In the Jan. 13 column in the Atlanta Jewish Times, Adler floated three scenarios for how Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would deal with a nuclear Iran and other threats in the region.
Adler wrote that Israel could order a strike on Hezbollah and Hamas, or a strike on Iran's nuclear facilities.

The writer is not simply calling for the assassination of an American president, he is calling for a foreign state to take control of the US government.
He needs to be convicted of Sedition on locked up in a federal prison doing hard labor.

I don’t wish the Cretin-in-Chief to become a martyr.

And I want him to live long enough for him to realize that the entire nation agrees with this premise.
It also plays right into the hands of anti-Semitic Blacks, who have been spending a lot of time and energy telling their flocks how Jews are blood-suckers, and how the International bankers are keeping them down. Remember "Hymie Town?" Remember "Freddies?" There are so-called "Black Leaders" just looking to use Jews (through their association with Israel) to scapegoat all the perceived problems of the "oppressed minorities."

Some Muslims who have been adopted by our military have murdered soldiers. Obama has planted politically active Muslims all over the government...sure they are all “moderate” Islamists. They got their way into our government because they want to advocate for the Islamic agenda. When they don’t get their way, and they have access to elected leaders and their staffs, I know what is going to happen. We have watched it unfold in the military.
The Secret Service is a day late and dollar short. DC, including homleand inSecurity, is now infiltrated with radical Islamists. Jan the Man was questioned in Congress as to why she gave top secret clearance to a known Islamic radical. He was later caught trying to shop inside information. There is plenty more we don’t yet know about, but we will in time.
So now the Secret Service is going to break all bad on a Jewish guy in Georgia for something he wrote where he never said that he would do that to the President. It’s a lot easier beating up citizens than it is challenging the guy putting the Muslim Brotherhood in power everwhere - including DC.
This country is getting wierder and wierder.

When LBJ killed JFK (with the assistance of J Edgar Hoover), he used JFK's popularity to set the stage for the socialist state that is causing American to crash and burn.
Obama, America's first Muslim President, is doing everything you'd expect a radical Muslim to do to try and destroy America. Oil Pipeline? NEVER, Obama loves American money flowing to the countries that are trying to destroy America.
Stimulus? I won't even insult you by asking how spending $Trillions is supposed to create jobs.
Libya? Any idea why an American President used the US Military to set up radical Muslim in Libya.
As you look at this "FAILED" American President, look at the Muslim side. He is an incredible success, exceeding all expectations as he destroys the economy and the country. He's doing it on purpose, exactly like any Muslim terrorist would.
Just like you have no idea that LBJ killed JFK, you apparently have no idea Obama is a radical Muslim even though both of those things are Obvious to even the most casual observer.
I think a good analogy would be a comparison to the various House committees that investigated communist infiltration, such as Overman (1918), Fish (1930), SCUA (1934–1937), and HUAC (1938–1944); but if, instead of investigating secret communists, they were investigating open communists who had been invited to be in our government by friendly Democrat administrations, to show that we were an “open minded” nation and “willing to engage *moderate* communists”, while encouraging communists to immigrate to the US.
And that such investigations had to carefully avoid “offending” communists and their communist sensibilities, despite violent and vicious attacks perpetrated against non-communists around the world by communists, and their demands that the US government must obey communist rules and laws, or at least give special privileges to communists so they could obey their rules and laws.
And there would be organizations like CAIR, perhaps CACR, loudly protesting any real or imagined offenses against foreign and American communists in the US, and bitterly protesting American support for a small, non-communist nation surrounded by hostile communist nations, which sought to protect itself after it had repelled repeated, unsuccessful communist invasions with genocidal intent.

I know in my heart that he is and bless you for stating the truth. He’s so dangerous that I think even a lot of Freepers must not get it or they wouldn’t talk about “sitting it out” if they don’t like our nominee. I hope at this point it’s Newt because he’s on the right track about the Islamic threat and the assault on Christians and Jews, but no matter what, we have GOT to get BHO out.
