Dream on, FDR tried to tpack the Supreme Court and even though he had big majorities in both houses, his fellow Democrats would not even go along with such an abuse of power. I would look at more recent history as far more relevant than that of the early days of the republic.

The U.S. Constitution and the Founding Fathers reflected the idea of "Consent of the Governed" ...
It's been incredible successful because of the "Balance of Power" ... especially (when neccessary) to "reign in" a sometimes out-of-control judiciary ...
