PARIS — President Nicolas Sarkozy of France suspended military training and assistance for Afghan forces on Friday and said he would consider an early withdrawal from Afghanistan after an Afghan soldier shot and killed four French soldiers on a base in eastern Afghanistan.

France has been a firm ally of the United States in Afghanistan, with the fourth-largest contingent of troops, according to NATO figures, and 82 French soldiers have died, many of them killed fighting in Kapisa Province in eastern Afghanistan, where Friday’s shooting occurred.I felt that should be added before the knee-jerk reactions begin.

I think Napoleon used up everything the French had in them.
Just saying but France has a population of around 64 million. If four of its soldiers were killed and if you compare that to the US then the equivalent would have been around 20 or so. They like the US are there to help the Afghan’s and when their soldiers kill those sent to help, then ....... again, just saying.
Why have your troops killed for nothing? American mothers should be asking that question of the TREASONOUS USURPING KENYAN SOB!

If the Afghan Army can't do something to protect it's foreign instructors, things might fall apart rather quickly.
