On the plus side, as SC is crossover state, all Cain votes will come out of the hide of Romney and Paul.
There are still supporters of Cain right here on FR and they will go out and vote for him - not just liberals and dems.
Yep. When I first heard this story I was torn between thinking we do need something to lighten up the nasty tone that Sen Rick and Gov liberal flip-flop have brought to the table, and being upset that Cain has yet to endorse Newt. And mylife is so right about how some FReepers would have jumped on it if it were Perry doing this -- but there are still some who jumped on Cain (just read the posts -- mental issues? c'mon, now)
Fact is, no Conservatives want Romney. This gives the young demonrats something to do besides support Mittens or RonPaul if they want to "spoil" the results...and it may give us an opportunity to gauge the numbers of dim-wits who are crossing over in other states, too. I am only sorry he waited until the election instead of starting a few days ago.
Conservatives who are serious about winning will still vote for the Speaker (or should we call him Dr. Gingrich?). Conservatives who don't beleive in "forgive us our trespasses AS WE FORGIVE those who trespass against us" will still vote for Santorum, and now the leftists among us will have a third choice: Willard or Ron or Steve/Herman.
But, I would like to see Herman tell his former supporters to vote for Newt.
