Another fake crisis requiring trillions of dollars for academic research (academic welfare), legions of new bureaucrats (government welfare), subsidized solutions companies (crony capitalism welfare) and millions of new regulations and laws.

I can just only imagine the biodiversity of the vermin at the OWS sites. Something we need to save?

There is a condition facing the world that is more dangerous than Biodiversity or world climate. The sky is falling!
Scientists need a grant to study the anomaly./s

Yea, I thought about this while working in my high-rise office building the other day....how can I keep doing what I am doing without biodiversity?

This is all part of the same Big Lie. Global warming (under its many names) has been warned of because it will lead to “the extinction of whole taxa” and a “great dying” not seen since a ten mile wide hunk of space crud blasted a huge crater and pushed all the dinos into a mass grave (figuratively, mostly). It won’t, it’s not happening, and the oceans warming at depth (another recently revived part of the Big Lie) isn’t happening either.
Thanks dila813.

I guess global warming ...er climate change was not leveraging enough control over our individual freedoms. They needed a new crisis to use as an excuse for land set asides, the erosion of private property rights and pushing people into dense settlements to protect the earth.

The new panel is the biodiversity equivalent to the UN panel on climate change OK, I think that tells us everything we need to know. Real (political) science at work here. Har, har, har
