In spite of all of the M/S hoopla about Mitt, and the large amount of money he has spent, most thinking people realize that Mitt is just an empty suit. People want someone that can go to Washington and turn it around, Mitt is just more of the same/ I remember when Newt was just a back bench bomb thrower, he kept on bring up Jim Wright and all he had done wrong, soon Wright left town, and Newt was still there.

"He has the base, the Christian right and the tea party. "

"I think Newt's people, they had more on-the-ground staff, and they worked." There were a lot of them, too."

Unpaid staff, grassroots that have been organized into little known local precursors that morphed into The Tea Party.

There has been one in my little town. These are the little groups something like "Citizens Concerned About Everytown", Nevada Research Organization, etc.

Newt's e-mail newsletter has been around since he left office laying the specific groundwork to towns all over the country on how to form grassroots organizations (They are the ones who came out to Tea Party rallys and Sarah Palin knows it). Years and years.

Newt has always had a nationwide organization. It just didn't have his name on it.
