And where exactly does the delegate count stand? All the media are treating this as if it were still winner take all. How many delegates did Newt gain yesterday? Romney? crazy Uncle Luther? Whiny boy?

Good catch Tom!

It took us years to figure out that the Clintoistas were gerrymandering stats for their last two years(at least) to make things look better than they actually were.

One can only imagine what a true socialist regime is willing to do to hide truth.

Morning Joe without his morning ho now doing his best to destroy Newt with his budd DNC Dave. Joe still professes to be a Republican! Can't say I know anyone that believes that bald faced lie.

That’s what Dick Morris told him to do.

All it will show is that Mitt made a lot of money and paid 15% in taxes, which is perfectly legal in the current system (capital gains rate)

I’m not proposing that the capital gains rate be increased but I’m still liking Perry’s plan which was a flat tax of 20%.

We don’t want to tax wealth or wealth creation, but should I really be paying 35 percent while a billionaire pays 15 %?

Brit Hume has a personal issue with Newt which I won’t discuss here.

He should recuse himself from discussing Newt.

Thanks Altura, I appreciate it.

Morning AB, All…..

…..singing this morning at 8:30 am mass. Taping Fox News Sunday which airs at 9 am here. Will be home in time for Meet the Depressed.

I must say I am very pleased with the outcome in South Carolina. Come on folks, Romney just isn’t the guy.

We don’t want him and we voted for Dole and we voted for McCain and Dubya turned out to be a wimp at defending himself.

Newt’s not perfect, we all know it, we might’ve been at night a lot of us, but NOT LAST NIGHT.

But we need someone who can articulate, someone who can DEFEND us who carry this country on our backs, someone with at least SOME kind of record of moving forward the Conservative agenda.

I doubt Newt’s gonna go sitting on couches with Pelosi or jealousy lambasting “social engineering”.

By me, he’s the one we need and his ego is big enough that such as laud and admiration are more important to him than reaching gently across the aisle.

I think Perry made the right move but I think Santorum should stay in there for sure.

If we’re lucky maybe the Blue Bloods will HEAR US NOW!

I guess Detroit really had no where to go but up,last I heard they were ready to bulldoze the city and its suburbs and start over.

Maybe they can become the food stamp capital of the world.

Yes!!! Re Newt and the media. The media elites do not realize in their cozy little cliques how much we hate them.

Most candidates are afraid to go after them for fear they will get bad coverage.

Well, guess what, they will get bad coverage anyway. I think one of the best things Newt has done is take on the media. People loved it. I loved it.

The media is as big an enemy to our country as democrats are. Obama would never have been elected if we’d had a fair media.

Newt should hit them at every turn, call them out on covering up for Obama while nit picking him and every other conservative.

Go, Newt. As we used to say at high school football games, “hit ‘em again, harder, harder.”

I was struck with the fact that ALL the round table on MTP acknowledged that Romney is NOT good at fighting. That's a wonderful endorsement of him to run against Obama-—IF you want Obama to win.

*With apologies to Lewis Carroll:

JabberMitty

`Twas brillig, and the slithy Rove
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were his mirrorRoves,
And the meme Rats outgrabe.

“Beware the JabberMitt, my son!
The jaws that spite, the flaws that kvetch!
Beware the JebJeb bird, and shun
The frumious O’Reillysnatch!”

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought —
So rested he by the Palmetto tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The JabberMitt, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

“And, has thou slain the JabberMitt?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!’
He chortled in his joy.

`Twas brillig, and the slithy Rove
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were his mirrorRoves,
And the meme Rats outgrabe.

Yeah, ... it’s a sad story and I’m really, really sorry for Brit about it, but it’s obviously affected his coverage of Newt and he really should step aside from discussing Newt.

Hey Fish, went down to the campaign and made phone calls yesterday and mentioned I was a Newt supporter. The place went nuts as the establishment started ripping into him and how he can’t beat Obama.

I just laughed and listened as I thought how we need to burn down the Country Club to save the Party.

BTW: My campaign program has become very popular all over the State and only my County Chair is standing in the way of it. Getting emails from everywhere how to institute it after our election. Keep an eye on this, we are w/in 4 pts for the first time in 35 yrs at this point and will pull the upset and have all the momentum.

Pray for Oregon

Great post.

I worry about Newt's huge unfavorables. AT the same time I worry about the fate of our country.

What does it say that our side would worry about sending a Newt Gingrich, someone of stellar intelligence and brilliant ideas, human to a fault making many errors along the way to advance conservatism and the American way up against such a marixst as the Dear Leader? If the country is that far gone that we can only win 0with a milque toast Romney type,is there any hope for the country anyway?

One wonders.
