The Traditional Republicans with roots back to the Abolitionist Movement are not now nor were they ever RINOs.

They are the very foundation of the party ~ the first element in a party founded with residual elements of the Whig party.

A RINO is something else ~ mostly a person who runs as a Republican because he's in an area devoid of Republicans and can buy his way on the ticket ~ without getting shot (a real issue in the pre-modern Souf').

We do have some Republicans who are here as a matter of convenience, not belief, but not all regular and traditional Republicans are members of the other three Conservative movements allied with the Republican coalition.

Just because they aren't YOUR KIND doesn't mean they don't belong here.

I have not missed an election, primary, or runoff election since I turned 21 and first voted in the Tennesse 1964 primary election and I’ve NEVER voted for a democrat or in a democrat primary, donated to and worked for many candidates who I did not totally agree with, especially presidential candidates. I know the beginnings of and history of the Republican Party and they have for many years been “the party of fiscal responsibility,” only not in practise. The “Conservative” element of the party more often than not has to hold their nose to vote election day, the country can’t afford the disaster this time that occured four years ago. In the late sixties the leaders of the Republican party would describe the democrats as “the loyal opposition” and would go on to say “We have the same goals, just a different way of arriving at them” this was and is BS. This is the same group that got rid of Newt and if you look at his accomplishments and at the reduced spending during his tenure and the spending spree that started when the successflly deposed him. This is the same group yhat is opposing him today. I choose to refer to them as Rino Elitest at times even though I send them money and help them win elections out of what I see as no viable altertanative at times. Rino Elitest is actually not as bad as some things those of my ilk get called by democrats, media and RINOS. I have refrained from using tha name for years but I’m sick and tired of the only alternative to the democrat party being controlled by a minority and go about destroying Conservative Republicans. Forty percent of Americans describe themselves and we are allowing a minority to control the Republican party and set the rules for primaries and the convention to favor the “establishment” Republicans, if you like that better than “RINO ELITEST”, Conservatives in all states need to find out how to participate in their precient caucus, take their beighbors get conservatives elected to the county and state conventions and or run for party office or for delegates where this is the procedure. This has been my hope for the Tea Party, to unite with Conservatives and make the Republican Party a truly “Conservative” Party.

And, I never said that any Republican doesn’t belong here.
