Obama to appear at hearing; attorney Orly Taitz says it will be '100 times bigger than Watergate'

A Georgia judge has ordered President Barack Obama to appear in court in Atlanta Thursday for a hearing on a complaint that says Obama isn't a natural-born citizen and can't be president.

Orly Taitz, the California attorney who brought the legal challenge to Obama's name on the March Georgia presidential primary ballot, says this is what she has been working for over the last three years.

"This will be 100 times bigger than Watergate," she said Saturday morning, referring to the scandal that brought down President Richard Nixon in 1974. "There are high ranking judges and federal officials who are involved in this cover up. The ramifications of this trial will be enormous."

Taitz said she expects the president's legal team to fight his appearance in the Georgia court.

"But he's in a catch-22," she said. "If he is appealing this decision, then he looks guilty. The whole nation understands this man is a fraud."

Taitz has led the "Birther" movement that insists Obama is not a natural-born U.S. citizen. She is also familiar to Georgia courts.

“And Freepers will act like little babies and stay out of the election if Romney gets the nomination”

I don’t know about the Freepers; but this is how zero won in 2008. A lot of pubbies stayed home and would not vote for McCain.

You’re right. This is partly how Omuslim won in ‘08.
I DESPISE flip flopper Romney, but I will have to support him if he wins the election.
He’s got to be a little bit better than the Marxist/Muslim.
(now we’ll both get flamed)

McCain would not have been any better because he is on the same team as Obama. Same with Romney. Just because someone claims allegiance to the GOP does not mean they have allegiance to our Constitutional Republic. Both parties have been infiltrated: the Dems, completely and the GOP enough to make the coup possible. PRAY!

Unfortunately, I’m among those who don’t believe Obama will ever appear in court for this - or for that matter- ever even have to answer for this. If it is locked in to where he can’t get out of it, I watch for some “big event” to happen to take our minds off of it when the media starts covering that 24/7 - like the killing of Bin Laden.

That said, I do admire Taitz’ absolute diligence in this - she has really hung in there. I hope she succeeds.

"But he's in a catch-22," she said. "If he is appealing this decision, then he looks guilty. The whole nation understands this man is a fraud."

No, any president would do that. They don't like being told what to do, and they'd invoke separation of powers as much as they could along with executive privilege and anything else their lawyers come up with.

Not to say that he's not a fraud, mind you.

We already had a Democrat insert a cigar into an intern in the White House, lie to the cameras about it, lie to a jury about it and walk away unscathed, making millions giving speeches.

Wouldn't want to call this country a dictatorship or a Banana Republic. nah

Exactly - the only way this entire issue will ever get any legs at all is if, or when, the state-run, liberal-left, progressive-communist, lame-stream media runs with it. We all know that is NEVER, EVER going to happen. Only way that would happen is if a Republican were defrauding the American people. Then all of the networks would be giving it 24-7 coverage.

zero will probably be allowed to ‘appear’ in court remotely on video and in secret. The judge will get an offer he can’t refuse.

• Remove Zero from the ballot
• Send Holder a copy of the 10th
• Send the Fulton County Sheriff to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
• Sit back and LYAO! - I AM!

The way the law reads, it's Zippo’s burden of proof to prove that he is eligible to be on the ballot.

I’m really amazed that both Sheriff Joe and Olry Taitz are still alive!

I wonder what will happen to this judge - and/or his family - if he becomes the first one not to drop the case like a red hot cannonball after he has that little visit from Obama’s goons?

“If you think differently you live in a FR bubble.”

I am afraid you are right.
When people want to talk politics with me, I ask them if they can identify:
Saul Alinsky
Barry Soetoro
Stanley A. Dunham
Frank Marshall Davis
etc.
They usually say I am full of it, and just making things up.

Don’t overlook the fact Obummer issued an EO sealing all his records.
What takes priority here?

Here comes the Judge!
Here comes the Sheriff!
Here comes Orly!
