Chromostereopsis. Adjacent red and blue are difficult for the eye to focus equally. This is caused by the widely different wavelength of red and blue light. I had a college text book that had blue letters on a red cover. It looked like 3-D and drew remarks from anyone who looked at it. I imagine the author's sense of humor kicked in when he designed that cover.
