Romney Out With Biting Ad Against Gingrich
CNN ^ | 10-23-11 | CNN's Ashley Killough

(CNN) - Mitt Romney's campaign released a blistering new Florida television ad against Newt Gingrich on Monday, eight days before the Sunshine State's presidential primary.

"If Newt wins, this guy would be very happy," the ad's narrator says, as a photo of a smiling President Barack Obama appears on screen.

The 30-second commercial, "Florida Families," is set to air statewide in Florida.

In a part of the country that saw large amounts of home foreclosures, the ad particularly strikes Gingrich over his time as a consultant at mortgage giant Freddie Mac.

"While Florida families lost everything in the housing crisis, Newt Gingrich cashed in," the narrator says.

I do not respect Romney. I think he's a dirtbag.

I offer your article as evidence.

Yes. I just sent him some money. I heard Fox news say Newt was in Tampa and is dishing out so much baloney he may open a delicatessen in Florida soon! I think Romney may have had some investments in Fannie/Freddie. Hope Newt can bring that out somehow.

If all they got is “vote for me because I can beat obama” they are toast.

Bachmann could beat Obama. Heck I could beat Obama. It’s a non-issue.

Nope. After all, Willard is more ideologically aligned with obastard than Newt.

Last night, but I think that depending on how badly Newt beats him tonight, Newt may kick his ass without too much cash.

Newt is ahead by 9% in Florida {Rassmussen today} and Newt hasn't spent a dime on TV ads.

Me neither. He's John McCain all over again.

Remember when John McCain came out with all the vicious ads against the conservative nominees but you couldn't use Barack Obama's middle name?

John "My Opponent Would Make A Good President" McCain endorsed Mitt Romney. N'uff said

I respect Romney

Why? Promoting abortion, promoting homosexual agenda, promoting gun control, promoting government mandated health care, promoting man made global warming.....why is it that you respect him?

And when you wake up on November 7th and read “Obama turns back Romney challenge handily”, then what are you going to say?

Any smile Obama has will be wiped off his face in the first debate with Gingrich.

Gingrich is not the ideal candidate you might come up with if you were allowed to synthesize presidential contenders in a lab. But he is best able, among the present contenders, to take out Obama, and that is critical.

Go Newt!

Romney is a sleazebag! He gets ZERO respect from me won’t get my vote either! I really suspect that he was responsible for the sleaze thrown at Palin, Cain, and Perry.

Romney is a horrible campaigner. He spends lots of other peoples’ money and getting almost no positive results. Gee, that sounds a lot like how 0bama runs the country.

Remember RomneyCare...

Governor Romney still defends his plan five years later while publicly saying as President he would repeal and replace ObamaCare. But the two plans are similar in at least three significant ways:

Both have an individual mandate that requires people to purchase a private good – in this case, health insurance – and levies a financial penalty against those who don’t.

Both implement a new government bureaucracy called an “exchange” through which all insurance policies are approved, sold, and heavily regulated.

Both have sizeable subsidies for low-income people to purchase the mandated coverage.
