Poppy cock. There are more conservatives in this country than liberals. The elites of both parties have just managed to keep them divided.
I live in a county that has almost no Republicans. The people are 98% social conservative, and majority fiscal conservatives. They kinda remind me of Zell Miller.
These Dems run on a conservative message that could have come straight from the Republican conservative play book.
We had a conservative Republican run for state representative. His message was fiscal responsibility, pro life, pro traditional marriage etc.
He just pointed out to them that the leadership in the National Democratic party didn't believe in any of those things. And 50 years or more of Democratic representation was ended, with 70% voting for him.
Don't believe for a second that conservatives don't outnumber the libs. All these Reagan Dems have to hear is a clear conservative message from some one who truly believes it.
A warning, though, the workers are members of unions, but if you avoid attacking unions, any conservative should do well.
