Virginia had the most Conservative Republican Establishment in the history of the state, and they ALL turned on Newt and embraced Mitt.

Their careers in politics are now in tatters. None of these guys will ever see a national level executive job nor even election to the Senate.

They threw their political lives away opposing Newt.

My guess is that the same comment will apply to Niki Haley. The only thing I can think of is that the “establishment” pressure behind the scenes has been intense. The truth of the matter is that the RINOs would be content to get back their committee chairmanships in the Senate with all the perks and let Obama have four more. They, from all outward appearances, are much more concerned about their personal circumstances than doing something meaningful for the country. Newt will upset their apple cart and that’s their main focus. Go Newt!!!
