Homosexual lobby day in VA is today (list of their targeted bills)BARF ALERT
EV email ^

Posted on 01/24/2012 7:07:41 AM PST by Gopher Broke

Please take a minute today to support the more than 100 fellow Equality Virginia supporters at Lobby Day. We know many of you couldn't make it today due to busy schedules, work or the distance to Richmond but you can still make a difference at the General Assembly.

Contact your delegate and senator by phone or email today and ask them to look out for members of Equality Virginia. Better yet, voice your support for and against bills concerning Virginia's GLBT community this week.

Find out who your representatives are here.

Ask your senator to:

OPPOSE SB 349 (MCWATERS) This so-called "conscience clause" bill would authorize licensed, state-funded adoption and foster care agencies to discriminate in making adoption and foster care services available to children and prospective parents.

•This is NOT a religious freedom issue. Offering adoption and foster care services to the public is a secular not a religious activity. Children in foster care are the state's children while they are in the system.

•Adoption is not a private act. No adoption can be finalized without the approval of the state and a court order.

•Agencies licensed to facilitate adoptions and foster care are functioning as agencies of the state. •Just as the state cannot deny any citizen the equal protection of the laws, neither can the agents of the state, i.e., the licensed child-placing agencies, even if they are run by faith-based organizations.

•As agents of the state, licensed child-placing agencies are not engaged in private acts (as would be the case with respect to private employment decisions by those organizations).

SUPPORT SB 569 (Ebbin) and SB 647 (McEachin) This legislation would ban discrimination by adoption and foster care agencies that contract with the state or receive state funding (directly or indirectly).

•The best interests of the child should be the sole basis for child placement decisions.

•Research shows children raised by GLBT parents are not disadvantaged in any way. Such home environments are just as likely to be good for children.

•Virginia ranks 1st in nation in the percentage of children who age out of foster care (32%) and in 2009 had the lowest rate of public adoptions in the U.S. More than 1,600 Virginia children are still waiting for loving permanent homes.

•This bill does not change the law on who can adopt or foster children. It simply ends discrimination against those legally eligible and the children in the system.

•Ending discrimination against prospective loving parents is in the best interest of children who have a right to a loving permanent home. It is also in the best interests of children who should not be denied services simply because of who they are.

Ask your delegate to:

OPPOSE HB 189 (GILBERT) This so-called "conscience clause" bill would authorize licensed, state-funded adoption and foster care agencies to discriminate in making adoption and foster care services available to children and prospective parents.

These bills are just a few of the ones concerning the GLBT community this year. You can follow all of them here and get up to date talking points on our General Assembly page.

Please take action today to support your fellow EV members walking the halls of the General Assembly and to stop your tax dollars from funding state authorized agencies from discriminating against the GLBT community.

This just goes to show that there are activists working constantly on these issues. They are just probing and working to make new allegedly progressive breakthroughs.

And apparently the issue of homosexual adoption is a major cause in that LGBT community.

My email to my VA Senator:

Dear Senator xxxxxx,

I urge you to Support SB 349, a bill to protect faith-based adoption agencies, allowing them to operate according to their beliefs. Christian groups should never be forced to allow kids to be adopted by homosexuals. Children ideally need a mother and father in an adoptive arrangement.

Please OPPOSE SB 569 and SB 647. These force faith-based agencies to allow adoptions by homosexuals and are not in the best interest of the child.

Sincerely,

This is not a “religious” issue? OK. We won’t go there, even though morality can never be separated from man. There is Natural Law which is the basis of our Constitution and jurisprudence-—it is where all Natural Rights are derived. Although Natural Law is not a “religion” it always presupposes a Supreme Being-—a Designer of Nature. As such, there is always Objective Truth when discussing American Jurisprudence-—it is what makes “Just Law”.

Homosexuals are asking for “special rights” for a behavior which is not only unnatural, but disease-causing and dysfunctional. The lifestyle never leads to a “flourishing society” by any definitions. Since the lifestyle is learned and not genetic, you have to pervert the very nature of young boys—as they do in Afghanistan today and Ancient Greece where Man/boy “love” or in the case of the Afghanis and muslims—”Man/boy recreation” is common. Pederasty is the reason for homosexuality, along with emotional abuse of the child.

Homosexuality is a manifestation of self-hatred and hatrred of God’s design. It is an immature act—these people are not able to have mature opposite-sex relationships because of a fixation in the earlier, latency stage of development. Most often, they are sexually abused—traumatized in childhood.

Anyone who promotes the homosexual agenda is promoting child abuse. Because of their own abuse, they are much more likely to abuse children.....all the priest scandals prove the inability of homosexuals to resist molesting children even with strict religious indoctrination-—like I say, they are immature, and can not fight the compulsion to molest.

Nature designed human beings to have both a biological mother and biological father. It is the reason for social contracts-—to do one’s duty especially to one’s offspring. That is why marriage has to be between a woman and a man. It presents the role model which is inclusive of both men and women so a child learns how to function with both men and women. They need the modeling—it is a part of becoming mature and competent in a society which will not discriminate against either men or women.

Homosexuality is sexist. They reject half of society—Marriage is the only rational way to connect the two sexes which creates equality of the sexes. Ancient Greece and Afghanistan today shows what happens when you segregate the sexes and promote homosexuality. It always ends up ugly—especially for the “weaker” sex. Women are treated like cattle and breeders in these societies.

Promoting sodomy goes against our Constitution because sodomy is always evil. You create unjust laws when you force evil on the populous. That is why sodomy has been illegal for centuries in the US. Evil can not be made “good” just because some dysfunctional, abused people have an “urge” to put an organ in a silly, destructive place.

That urge is lust, it is never love. It is always a demeaning act—defiles the body and human beings. No animals in nature commit sodomy and NEVER sodomize their young. This habitual demeaning of the body is why they are much more likely to commit bestiality and be the ones on the Serial Killer lists. It is why the SA Brownshirts were homosexuals-—it was easy for them to demean other human beings—treating them in inhumane manner.

Homosexual “sex” is not just meaningless and devoid of “life”, it degrades their very soul and the meaning of life.
It is always evil. To model that dysfunction to children as “good” is telling children a big lie. That evil behavior should NEVER be modeled to young children. They should never be able to adopt children. They are modeling evil, dysfunctional behavior in a sexist environment.

Just like that Tyler boy-—the lesbians put on toxins to keep him from naturally maturing-—when he was four he tried to cut off his penis. Why? Because he had no loving father to model himself after. He was taught to loath himself and his body by his “mothers”. That artificial world is sick and leads to a very sick worldview.
