President Obama will pledge in Tuesday night’s State of the Union address to work with Congress where possible in forging “an economy built to last.” But he will warn his opponents that he will “fight obstruction with action,” and promise to “oppose any effort to return to the very same policies that brought on this economic crisis in the first place,” according to excerpts of the speech released by the White House.
The speech, to be delivered at 9 p.m., is the president’s third such address and comes amid a tumultuous Republican battle to see who will challenge his bid for a second term. Against that backdrop, Obama will remind Americans of the economic mess he inherited and which he blames on past policies.
“No, we will not go back to an economy weakened by outsourcing, bad debt, and phony financial profit,” he will state. “Tonight, I want to speak about how we move forward, and lay out a blueprint for an economy that’s built to last – an economy built on American manufacturing, American energy, skills for American workers, and a renewal of American values.”

Obama will do this tonight with extreme hubris. He will do it because he knows all the limp wristed cowards sitting out there listening to his crap will never work up any courage to oust his wretched ass.
He is delusional. He still thinks the majority of voters buy his “blame the mess Bush left me” line. That was three years ago and he made it worse from day 1.
He is announcing his formal dictatorship of America this evening.
It will be a speech of historical importance. I normally would not watch this...but ...I do believe tonight he will not only take the cake...

This from a man who has placed us 4 trillion dollars in the hole in the last 3 years, a President who has no budget, a President who will ask for another trillion dollars before he gets out of the Capitol, and a President who has worn out Air foce One taking vacations and campaign flights.
We have an economy that lasts now.
Our kids will be paying for it for the next 100 years.
After he declares Conservatives enemies of the state, when does he send in his civilian militia?
