And, AND, I do believe Mormons have this “destiny” kind of thing going, that only Mormons can fulfill... and beyond that, I honestly believe they work toward it from both political parties...

What you mentioned is called the “White Horse Prophecy”.
Essentially meaning, that at some point the Constitution would be ‘hanging by a thread’ and ONLY a saint (mormon) could restore it.

It’s called the White Horse Prophecy. I know Mitt believes he is the one to fulfill it, but I am wondering if Beck thinks Mitt is the fulfillment or if he (Beck) is. I’m leaning towards the second one - that Beck is arrogant enough to believe he is the fulfillment of the prophecy himself.

It is also possible that Beck thinks he is in line for a cabinet position when Christ returns and sets up a Mormon theocracy from Missouri (I am not kidding).
