Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich responded to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, who said on Wednesday night on CNN's John King that Mr. Gingrich would never become President of the United States.
"There is something I know. The Republicans, if they choose to nominate him that's their prerogative," said Congresswoman Pelosi. "I don't even think that's going to happen."
Mr. Gingrich appeared on The Washington Times affiliated radio program "America's Morning News" and forcefully responded to Rep. Pelosi.
"There's almost a level of hysteria about the prospect of somebody who really wants to change Washington," said Mr. Gingrich to host John McCaslin.
"I have a simple challenge for Speaker Pelosi...you know, put up or shut up. I mean, I have no idea what she's talking about. I don't think she has any idea what she's talking about, but bring it on," he said.

Pelosi is kind of in a position of power here. Or rather a position of safety.
She’s done all the harm she can do and that’s plenty. Don’t think she’s planning to run again but in her district she’d probably win no matter what.
She can hint anything she wants to or even say anything she wants to without fear.
I expect that she will say ‘stuff’ after Newt gets the nomination.
If Newt actually said that, he's got my vote, and no I don't care about his personal foibles. Think clinton getting BJ's in the oval office. Compare and contrast.
She sounds like a 10 year old girl on the schoolground. Is there any, any adult supervision in the Democrat party, or is it all people stuck in childhood?
Newt could raise the certification of Obama’s eligibily issue where Pelosi sent one form to Hawaii and another form to all other states. Why not use the same form for all states? I’d like to see her explanation on that.
Oh. Maybe she and Reid just “deemed” him eligible.

As far as we know he married everyone he ever slept with. Not a paragon of moral virtue, but better than the slickster and America forgave him.

Bravo! If the botox queen really pulls a stunt, Gingrich can kill 2 birds with 1 stone - ask why she sent 2 versions of ‘candidate nomination’ paper to the states? In the one sent to 49 states (all but Hawaii) why was there no certification that obama meets the constitutional qualification?
She probably says - I signed them before they were written, just like I passed obamacare before I know what is in it!

This is why people dig Gingrich. He’s the only one who viscerates liberal (and might as well add Republican Establishment) foolishness and dishonesty head on. He’s utterly unafraid. I love when he mops the floor with them.
I want no part of weak candidates who will not engage with all they’ve got. Sure, he’s got warts, but I love his fight. We need a street fighter, not a milquetoast (like Romney, or McCain before him).
And that is the way to handle it.
Newt’s flaws are known. What are they going to say? He cheated on his wives?

Metaphorically, we shouldn't leave the room until the left is on it's knees, teeth, blood, and snot on the floor whimpering and their fellow travelers cowering in the corners with their knees shaking and eyeing that yellow puddle that just appeared on their shoes.

Oh, and BTW the word you wanted was eviscerate if you meant as in gutted. Your coinage of viscerate (verb - which I like) meaning to add guts or intestinal fortitude is what we need the GOP to achieve. Fat chance.
Interesting jiu-jitsu with the Newt situation - pretty much any flack that the MSM or the Dumb-o-crat operatives aim at him gets swatted back, and just makes him stronger by endearing him to conservatives who then become more willing to overlook his flaws.
If clowns like Pelosi, Chris Matthews and their ilk had any brains (yeah, I know, practically a contradiction in terms), they’d lay off Newt and let him go merrily on his way.
Newt’s Achilles heel is his overbearing hubris - when he’s under fire, he can put it to constructive use; when he’s sailing clear, he has a tendency to go overboard. If he could just control that, I’d be happy to go all in for him, but from the Democrat standpoint, what they need to do is stand back and let him hang himself. Fortunately, they hate him (and conservatives) too much to do that.
