Ever met an English "football hooligan"?

I have ... splendid fellow, actually. Near as I could tell, he brawls at football matches because it's fun. He enjoys that.

I did, many years ago, occasionally patronize an Irish pub on E 85th St in NYC that was popular for Saturday night brawls. They were always great fun.

That said, I always left with the smart crowd before 2 AM. After that, things could get messy.

Newt seems to be hanging with the smart crowd.
