I am telling you, the consultants for both candidates do not believe it is profitable to run against the media. They don’t get it. Newt ignores his consultants but I know for a fact some of his consultants this this is true. Apparently Mitt believes his idiot consultants.
They all live in NY or DC and they have zero idea - they are clueless - how the normal person feels about the media.

In every presidential race the MSM wields less power and the internet increases in power. We’re seeing it here in what is happening with Newt. Imagine his comments in a world reported to 99% of americans via the 6 o’clock news on ABC, NBC and SeeBS... Romney would be all we have by now.

The establishment have no clue about the base or the people of this country.
They’re all stuck up in the north east and the beltway and have no clue what we want, what we think etc.
They deliver boring long winded no emotion speeches, no frontal attacks, never calling obama a socialist of which he is as is his agenda.
Newt goes on the attack and the establishment does not want anyone to rock the boat because they think the MSM might call them a name, the poor dears ARF.

There is the old political adage that you never go to war against people who buy ink by the barrel.
That adage does not apply anymore because every citizen in the United States now has the same access to the internet that the NYT and all the print media have. And the NYT no longer buys ink by the barrel. They buy it by the pint.
The news and opinions of this country are no longer the sole exclusive property of the MSM. Thanks to Al Gore's invention, that property belongs to all of us now.
I say that when the MSM is attacking you and coming to the defense of your enemies, that it is a good strategy to fire back. They have no real power anymore. It is all an illusion, a shadow of the power they once held.

That's because everything they believe and witness takes place INSIDE THE MEDIA. They are terrified that someone like Reagan will go straight to the people and bypass their little media world, rendering them powerless like they were in 1984.
The media supports the agitators that seek to tear down the economic and institutional establishment. They oppose those who pose a threat to the media establishment (that they overthrew over 40 years ago and dominate today).
