New Hampshire is on the brink of constitutional carry. They would have had it last year, but for infighting within the gun culture. Many blamed the missed opportunity on the NRA Rep in New Hampshire.

While I'm delighted that more and more states (people) are recognizing our right to keep and bear arms, I'm disgusted with the administrative law process that demands constant repetition of what our Constitution already says.

Our Constitution is sufficient. We don't need this constant, communist slathering of positive law on top of it.

A few days ago here on FR there was a report that in Oklahoma one location that had "Women only Conceal Carry Classes" enrollment was up 400%.

Oklahoma has issued Concealed Carry Permits in since 1995. For those hard core blue folk that is 16 years.

If you look at a map of The United States from the early 1980's then compare it to today the change from no issue, may issue and shall issue states has changed dramatically.

Today shall issue states are in the majority, some may issue states have become shall issue and no permit required states are showing up on the map.

It is the states that have taken the bull by the horns in most cases to begin to return that freedom to us. I call it States Rights because the federal government has done little if anything positive when it comes to Concealed Carry.

Things are far from perfect in the various states but at the present time we the citizens are gaining in small increments.

There is even "talk" of National Reciprocity.

The statement "I am from the federal government and I am here to help you" comes to mind. To me there is great danger in that statement because what Washington D.C. gives can be taken away with the stroke of a pen.

It is 150 miles to my state capital, it is 1,500 miles to Washington. Where can I be the most effective when it comes to the politics of gun control?

Locally !!!!

The 2nd Amendment: A Concealed Carry Permit

Good start. Now when will they begin licensing the priviliges citizens have under the first and fifth and other amendments?
