The National Center for Public Policy Research is claiming a scalp today after Ford Motor Co. formally withdrew from the liberal U.S. Climate Action Partnership. The conservative non-profit announces today that Ford has withdrawn from the organization, which uses corporate support form management to work against shareholders' interests by promoting a cap-and-trade framework for carbon emissions.

This is the way the hoax ends: Not with a bang but a whimper.
I want to buy Ford. My company has always bought Ford trucks. This is another good reason to buy a Ford.
BUT now I need a new Suburban or similar. My 2000 is a bit ragged out. BUT, I can’t find a Ford product that matches it. And I hate to buy Obama Motors. Come on Ford, make something as good as a Suburban please.
Ford was first to recover after 2008, they took no bailout and renegotiated there union contracts, they are growing and GM is still in the hole and will remain there, don’t listen to the propaganda on the buisness news that say’s GM has recovered, all they have done is kick there collapse down the road.
I’m surprised they were there in the first place.
Way to go, Ford.
The Mulally mantra, good news, on top of good news in dribs and drabs a few days inbetween. This is just after a gang buster Detroit Auto Show.
My guess this will catch the attention of Conservative potential buyers.
Watch Friday, their earnings... My gut tells me the knock the skin off the ball. ( not investment advice) Our dear leader will not be happy when it makes GM look weak...
Back in the early years of the last decade, Ford had a CEO (can't remember his name) who was a firm believer in global warming and tried to steer the company towards more "green" policies. This is probably a hold-over from his reign.

even Barry luvs him some Ford!
Bill Ford Jr....
Them 4 door quad cabs are pretty decent sized but not too big, compared to a suburban,, just saying.. ;-]
I love it when corporate America loudly and proudly announces that it has gonads.
We took delivery of a 2012 Fusion AWD two weeks ago.
Like it a lot.
“Putting profits before people and our planet!!”- (my Algore rant)
Haha, are you thinking of Bill Ford Jr. Or Jac Nasser? They are both libtards, but at least Jr. realized that his green agenda was destroying his namesake, so he stepped aside and hired Mullaly.
it’s increasingly rare.
they’ll probably get audited soon or a lot of OHSA inspectors will show up.
Well, they do make the Expedition EL.
Wow! Where did she get her shoes at?
There are many great reasons to buy a ford. This is just one of them.
Nascar just released this one.
Not for off-road or off-track racing. 8-]
For 2013, Ford will no longer offer the V-6 in the Fusion. I think this is a mistake. The AWD 3.5 set up has fantastic grip. With a little tuning, it could be a BMW beater...
Almost makes you want to go out and buy a Ford. Oh wait, I just did. I bought a Ford SUV and took delivery Monday.
I know that and totally agree - that’s why I am begging Ford to make something as good as a Suburban. I cannot stand GM but right now, they have the best product in that particular class, and I need that particular class.
my old escort is going up near a quarter million miles.
it’s a bitter clinger,too.
See my profile pics.
Good for Ford!
I grew up in a GM family, but switched, myself, with the whole bailout stuff. Now, with this announcement, I especially consider myself more Ford than GM.
...now if Ford could kill the UAW! I’d get their logo tattooed on my chest!
