I’m tiring of Mike’s Newt bashing. If he gets his way, Romney will be the nominee, will beat Obama, millions of illegals will get amnesty, Obamacare will remain in place, it will be business as usual in DC, and the GOP will be finished as an opposition party to the socialists (dems). And that’s the best case scenario. I will leave the worst case as a mental exercise for the reader.

I doubt that any will fret over Gingrich's carcass. Senator Goldwater was a Brig. Gen in the AF Reserves, highly respected, likeable -- he just had to be temporarily destroyed. Nothing personal -- with Gingrich I'm guessing that it is personal.
Some say that Romney, whose dad George was in the Rockefeller crowd if I remember correctly, was behind the effort to destroy Herman Cain as a member of the human race -- and yes they'll do the same to Palin(GONE!), Gingrich, et al.
