I've missed all but the last few minutes of Imus lately. His show in Sacramento airs 0300 - 0600. I did hear him say that he does not hate Levin and this morning he said that he loves Bob Beckel and apparently Imus has downgraded Hannity to like.. Imus used to love Hannity though Hannity "is wrong about everything."
Imus was trashing his Republican pick, Romney, the other day -- my guess Imus will not let anyone badmouth Obama this election year while not directly supporting Obama.
I recall how his staff Bernard, et al. criticized President Clinton until one day Imus exploded and told them to shut up about Clinton. I know that that kind of talk is Imus' shtick but he was serious and they did tone it down.

I’m listening to the podcast now . He’s been off since last Friday and this is the best show he can come up with ??? No prep is right !
I must add.. in the decades of listening to radio beginning during W.W.II, Dr. Savage is the only personality who can do this -- and he does it solo. For example, Imus has no show prep, his staff carries the show -- Imus mouths off, griping about this and that, repeating the dialogue each of three hours. He usually does a different guest interview each hour however.
I would like to hear Savage do more news mainly because, I'm guessing, the bulk of the listeners are commuters whose only news source other than MSM is Dr. Savage.

No one like him - politics-social issues and biblical references in one fell swoop
He outshines groucho’s week of broadcasts in less than an hour after 3 or so days off.
I maybe be fickle (ok I am but dang-what a great show!)
