INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Indiana's Republican-controlled House of Representatives cleared the way Wednesday to become the first right-to-work state in a traditionally union-heavy Rust Belt increasingly targeted by non-union foes.
The House voted 54-44 to make Indiana the nation's 23rd right-to-work state after Democrats ended a periodic boycott which had stalled the measure for weeks. The measure is expected to face little opposition in Indiana's Republican-controlled Senate and could reach Republican Gov. Mitch Daniels' desk shortly before the Feb. 5 Super Bowl in Indianapolis...

Watch the Union Brown Shirts go CRAZY.
Michigan is next.
First Daniels gets the most comprehensive school choice program in the U.S., and now this. He has changed this state for the better in many ways.
23 down only 27 to go!
Its over for unions in the midwest. Here in Michigan we even have a group of UAW members speaking out in favor of RTW laws.
Hoooray!!!
Take that obammy while you launch your re-election bid. Jerk,
Yeah! The unions announced they plan to strike back in the stupidest way possible, by “occupying” the Super Bowl!
Since the 1970s, Super Bowl security has been insanely high.
If the unions try some stunt, a whole bunch of them are going to end up standing up, buck naked, in the middle of some National Guard armory, with a bunch of rifles pointed at them, as a company of pissed off Guardsmen are ordered to miss the game so that they can detain them.
What finally broke the dems?
What finally broke the dems?
What finally broke the dems?
This RTW can onlynhave positive things happen for Indiana. Micigna needs to do the same thing FAST or companies will move across the state line to get better conditions to start and maintain a business.
Screw the UAW, and Obama too
Illinois is losing businesses to Indiana because of those idiots raising taxes. Now Michigan can start bleeding businesses to Indiana.
Yea!
Here in Michigan we even have a group of UAW members speaking out in favor of RTW laws.
You should prepare me for statements like that. I almost had a heart attack.
Gotta figure that a lifetime in Michigan without having been in a union is pretty rare. The liberal ideologues are primarily urban.
I was AFL-CIO and hated it. My neighbor is UAW and he makes most FReepers sound like Lindsey Graham.
