Your premise is based on a denial of political reality.

You are asserting that the positive political momentum in the House translates to political momentum in the Senate.

Historical fact does not support such a ridiculous reading of history.

The Senate was a treacherous lot in 1999, just as is in 2012.

In the 2010 the Repulicans won by HISTORIC margins in the House which translated to NOTHING in the Senate.

Leader McConnell and the likes of McCain sold out the majority in the House just like Leader Lott and guys like Gramm and Specter sold them out in 1999.

LOL if you will but your laugh reminds me of the laugh of the Black Knight.

In case this cultural allusion is below your elevated tastes in culture, I have provided a link.

Dude, you live in the same world as Dorothy and the Tinman. You’re ridiculous. The Republicans had 55 seats in the senate and could not get a majority for conviction in an obvious case of obstruction because of politics. Your naivete is something to see. Let us recap:

Clinton was diddling the help while discussing troop movements with a congressmen. He then lied and obstructed justice in front of a grand jury. About a year later two Republican Speakers resigned. Republicans lost seats in the House during the sixth year of a presidency, the first time this had happened in well over 100 years.Clinton finished out his term.

Big win for Newt.
