So then, if Newt[Insert Tea Party Backed Candidate Name Here] loses, they can turn around and say, "See? We told you they couldn't get elected. They didn't attract enough independents."
We saw this in Nevada, Delaware and many other places! The GOP Elites do NOT want the conservatives and Tea Party to upset their apple-cart! They are happy to capitulate and "compromise" with the devil - all on our dime!
It is sickening to me and many others!

It seems to me that Mitt Romney is more comparable to John McCain than Newt Gingrich is.
I'm sure both sides could come up with lists to paint the other as being more McCain-ish, but, in my opinion, Romney is this year's McCain.
That would be my question to Ann and Matt and others. Who do you think is more like McCain and could McCain win this year?
