Mitt vs. Mitt - Why I will never vote for Mitt Romney
YouTube.com ^ | DNC

Posted on 01/26/2012 7:07:30 AM PST by reegs

This video perfectly encapsulates why I will never vote for the biggest flip-flopper to ever grace a presidential election, the person who chooses the most politically expedient side of an issue, Mitt Romney. This video by the DNC proves they are aware of Romney's greatest weakness: himself. In 4 minutes it completely destroys any credibility Romney might have on any issue.

If Romney becomes the nominee, this video will be used to demoralize the conservative base, suppressing turnout in November and leading to another 4 years of Obama. We cannot let this happen!

Noble sentiment. Perhaps President Obama will send you a VIP invitation to his second inauguration.

Wow, you “will never vote” for the Republican opponent of Barack Obama because you let a DNC-produced ad designed to demoralize people like you actually work? Wow, we’re lucky to have you on our side!

I think the point of the OP is that Willard Romney is fatally flawed as a candidate. He will lose in a general election whether the OP votes for him or not.

To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, “I did not leave the Republican Party, it left me.” A vote for Romney is a vote for Obama and the status quo anyway, so do as you will.

So, you don’t agree that this video, no matter the source, is toxic to Romney should he be the nominee?

If you feel you can't vote for Romney, then don't (but make sure you vote the rest of ticket). I honestly haven't decided if I'm going to choke down the bile and vote Romney if he gets the nomination, (like I did with McCain and have regretted ever since). Or if I'll vote 3rd party or write in a candidate. But don't be intimidated by the “You better vote for whatever POS the Republican party shoves down our throat or you LOVE Obama and are personally responsible for his reelection.” They said the same thing about McCain in 2008...

Your statement was that you would “never” vote for Romney. No matter how much you or I may prefer that someone else were the Republican candidate, a refusal to vote for him in the general election, if he is nominated, is the functional equivqlent of supporting Obama. That’s someting I would never do.

Romney is farther left than Gingrich. Romney is the worst of those two evils.

“A vote for Romney is a vote for Obama and the status quo anyway”

If you truly believe this, then you are truly helpless. A vote for Romney, by definition, would be a vote against Obama.

It’s funny (and by funny I mean pathetic) how many people on this site are trying to rationalize helping Obama win a second term by sitting the election out. “Well at least we’ll have our principles!” Bull sh*t.

If Obama gets re-elected, and you didn’t vote for the man who stood in his way, then EVERYTHING that happens to our country over those next four years will be on your head. Period.

Romney likes to say that Obama is “in over his head” but it’s not quite that simple. If Romney doesn’t recognize that there is a certain maliciousness behind these fundamental changes in America then I wouldn’t necessarily want to see him on the ballot, come November.

“Noble sentiment. Perhaps President Obama will send you a VIP invitation to his second inauguration.”

Are you referring to the leftist that looks like Obama or the Obama-lite leftist wearing the Romney mask running on the GOP RINO ticket? There are leftists pulling the Trojan Horse and leftists riding inside the Trojan Horse.

No thank you. I also will NOT vote Romney in ANY election. The establishment GOP can shove it!

I have problems with both Romney and Gingrich. Why Newt in particular couldn’t be a consistent conservative throughout his career is beyond me. He would be an easy choice if he had avoided things like the ad on the couch with Nancy Pelosi and statements of admiration for FDR. For some reason, he can’t stop himself from making moves like these.

I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR ROMNEY EITHER. THERE ARE MILLIONS LIKE US. I wonder how a person could put together an on-line petition to send to the RNC, that has the signatures of those who would not suport Romney under any circumstances. If they had any idea how strong this sentiment is they would back down.

And yet you have said nothing about the myriad of bad decisions, immoral issue positions, and change of positions of Myth Romney.

How odd?!

And the differences, comparitively speaking, between Newt and Mitt in terms of raliability and trustworthiness couldn't be more stark.

I will not vote for Mitt Romney. No one can explain to me how he would be better that Obama. They try to say “judges” but if you look at the judges he appointed inh Mass. it ain’t a pretty picture.

He is a gun-grabber.

He is a baby-killer. (one of his companies even profited off of the little dead babies’ corpses)

He is a fan of socialist medicine.

He implemented gay “marriage.”

If any one of you disgusting, cowardly, Romney-bots can give me hard proof that NONE of what I have accuse him of is true, I’ll vote for him.

Until then, tagline.

Mitt would be much more dangerous than Obama. He would destroy the conservative movement in America. His appointees to the supreme court would be to the left of those that could get confirmed by Obama. He WOULD NOT get rid of Obamacare. He is pro gay marriage, trust me. He has said publically he would be the gay agenda’s greatest advocate. He will say anything to get elected. We can control a President Obama, we would be in deep trouble with a Romney administration filled with ‘liberal’ republicans, that could not be distinguished from what we have now.
