Starbucks has joined the fight for gay marriage, as Washington state edges closer to becoming the seventh state to approve marriage equality.

Executive vice president of Partner Resources at Starbucks sent an email to business partners yesterday afternoon with the subject, "RE: A Message From Kalen Holmes: Starbucks Supports Marriage Equality."

"Starbucks is proud to join other leading Northwest employers in support of Washington State legislation recognizing marriage equality for same-sex couples," Holmes wrote.

What’s up with companies endorsing ANYTHING?

Just sell your product and STFU.

I’m depressed that I can’t boycott a hugely overrated product I never patronized in the first place.

Starbucks Endorses Gay Marriage

Hmmm...
2nd ammendment support versus supporting the homosexual takeover of holy matrimony.

Will people now advocate patronizing them, or boycotting them?

Personally, I just don't like the way their coffee tastes.

Starbucks is just serving their pedophile, gay, transvestite, cross dressing mocha latte base.

How is this possible? Liberals hate guns and the people that support the 2nd amendment.

The Starbucks in my area has an extremely gay guy as the “barrister”. His voice is so high he sounds like a 10 year old girl. No way he was born with that voice. I laugh everytime he talks. Others try to act like it’s all normal and have conversations with him about his weekend etc. His/it’s voice really will make you laugh.

I don’t go there either. It’s way overpriced, and the nice locally owned coffee shop is much less expensive. And the baristas are better looking and friendlier, too. Most importantly, I don’t have to worry about what would happen if I tell some guy to hold my seat.

Does that now include gay sex education for the kids?

Which will be law.

How’s that feel.

Like a straight guy can say, ‘I’ll have a tall half-skinny half-1 percent extra hot split quad shot (two shots decaf, two shots regular) latte with whip, please.”

The coffee is over-roasted to try to hide the fact that it’s stale before it gets to most shops.

Find a local roaster or shop and buy there. In Houston, Catalina’s is the best. I have a plumbed La San Marco espresso machine in my house with a Mazzer SJ and MACAP MXK grinders. It was an expensive endeavor, but let’s me buy my coffee from a local roaster who donates a lot of his income to churches all over South America and Africa. Plus I get my coffee the way I like it.

Here in Sunnyvale, CA we have a Starbucks I go to to get work done. A few years ago, it used to be known by everyone (including Yelp reviews) as the "Starbucks of beautiful women", because the barristas were so easy on the eyes.

Now the manager is (I'm guessing) a fruit (based on his vocal patterns and mannerisms), and one of the most-frequently working barristas is an "it" - some kind of multi-colored hair, short-haired, ugly-haired, ugly glasses-wearing ugly, male-dressing, ugly attitude, rainbow-wristband wearing "thing".

Despite their recent remodel, the place has gone downhill, and I'm almost positive business has been sinking. If we get the word out on this, I think it will put a real hurt on Starbucks nationally.

From now on, it's "Peets" for me!

Earlier today I was at the local Starbucks... the barista serving me looked like he was an canvas for an artist... and he had more holes than SWISS CHEESE.

Sorry... if I go to a chain coffee shop... Dunkin Donuts (grew up with them) or Paneria Bread....

Their coffee sucks imo, anyway.

Check out "cold-brewing" your own.

Good stuff............
