I’ve seen this behavior/tactic used a lot by addicts & narcissists.
That is the problem isn’t it? Once you take this tack you have to be willing to get down on their level for as long as it takes.
To fight a criminal you sometimes have to be a criminal and most good people can’t do it can they?
