Oh, a composting toilet setup can totally be inside! We made a construction with a toilet seat on top and we slid buckets underneath it. Had a bucket of mulchy stuff next to it with a trowel. Do business, toss mulchy stuff, put lid on bucket, wash hands. voila. When bucket was full, slide out, slide new one in, carry full bucket outside with lid on but not super tight. When several full buckets accumulated, we’d upend them on the special compost pile just for them, or they could be dumped one at a time; letting them accumulate made it so many were already partially composted.

Putting mulchy stuff at the bottom of the toilet bucket before using it is good, or a piece or two of newspaper, facilitates dumping.

Tinkling is better done in a seperate vessel, men can easily go outdoors and for the ladies, regulation chamber pots with lids are still sold.

LOL - what nonsense. My wife makes me kick the bucket, to make sure there are no mice in it.

Call that my bucket list.

LOL
